Welcome to the website of Queen’s Park Bowling Club! For over 150 years we have been an important part of Glasgow’s Southside community, providing both excellent facilities for sport and a relaxing social space for members.
We have a large and active membership and have regular matches between members and also against other clubs. We are also happy to welcome new members, including both experienced bowls players and those new to the sport.
Not played bowls before? Why not come and join us, we have regular open days for people to come down and try out the sport, check out the news sections for details of upcoming events.
We are fortunate to have 2 greens available to our members, plenty space for practice, fun games and competitions. Our clubhouse has a large hall along with changing facilities, lockers and of course our excellent bar which has a wide selection of drinks and is well priced.
During the non-playing season for outdoor bowls, there is still plenty to keep you occupied! We use our hall to play short rink carpet bowls in the indoors and weekly quiz nights during the winter months. We have weekly year round line dancing and in addition, in our annex house, we have two three quarter sized snooker tables which are available for members to use.
Our main hall is well proportioned and can accommodate up to 120 people at functions. We have regularly held birthday parties, receptions, weddings and ceilidhs. If you would be interested in hiring out our hall for a function please contact us at qpbcbookings@gmail.com
